Why I dig programming:
1 + 1 = 6 Why, because x = 4 no seriously. To take a problem as simple as the left and make it work and the critical thinking involved with learning new things and being able to work on a computer all day.
Why I like the industry:
Very awesome people. A paper clip can be sold in a matter of ways and each way is a new project and something new to make a computer do your bidding. It is rewarding to see the success of the companies that use our system to make their dreams a reality.
Why I continue to show up for work:
Having the ability of people wondering why I take as much flak as I do and still have a smile, and the bewildered looks on peoples' faces because they wonder if I'm actually hurt by it. Come Oonn Bring it!
Being able to work as a programmer and get paid to type on a keyboard all day.
What I do outside of work:
Taking care of my twins, wife, watching movies. SCA (I was not in the battle but I was there at camp probably recovering from the night before. link below)
